Overall tasty food, good service, great selection of options. I just can’t in good conscience leave a good review when the bill was $50 for one person. I ordered kung pao chicken with rice, 3 small soup buns, and a dessert. I left hungry still. Truly unbelievable pricing.

The restaurant is nice not wonderful not fancy but for Chinatown it’s nice. It was cold and wet and I was craving Peking Duck. By the way I have included pictures of a full menu and they serve dim sum. What grabbed me were the ducks hanging in the window. All I wanted was duck with pancakes with scallions with hoisin or plum sauce. They had it and I walked inside. The duck chef is up front dicing slicing trimming skin off for your meal. At least the duck wasn’t dry. It was moist. He added plenty of crispy skin to your serving a long with a pile of chopped duck- not thin slices. A duck leg was included. He added maybe chopped cucumber with the minutely sliced scallions. The cucumber or whatever it is did not go with the duck. His scallions were sliced thinly as if done by a surgeon. As I said the duck was good but the sauce bordered on tasteless. Even the color of the sauce was a tad lighter than what I am used to. The service was ok. Look it was wet and the restaurant was empty. I am sure they were bored. Plus a service charge was automatically ADDED. MY BILL was roughly 38 for one plus my drink was a Coca Cola. I rounded the bill to 40 pounds. For forty pounds I probably could have had steak frites somewhere but I was craving duck and this at least took away my hunger after my visit to the British Museum. I have three Chinese grandsons who are in the restaurant business in VIRGINIA USA. I sent pictures. Their comments without tasting were almost the same as mine. They said the duck had EXCELLENT crispy skin, meticulously sliced scallions and they too wondered about the pale color of the sauce. But preparation of duck is up to the individual and it’s different subtle tastes based on the chef. I will say this. You won’t go wrong here. Maybe use the duck as an appetizer. For me the serving was plentiful and I was just about ducked out. lol.

The food was delicious. They were friendly though a bit busy for a Tuesday afternoon. The prices were reasonable for London. Will definitely be back.

We visited this restaurant for dim sum, choosing it at random since we often go to other spots in Chinatown and wanted to try something new.
The prices were slightly lower than at some nearby restaurants, but we left feeling disappointed with the quality of several dishes. The xiao long bao, in particular, was my least favorite—the dough was noticeably thick.
